Song Joong-ki, 'I am actor who used to be short track player!'

He is the 24-year old shining star in MBC "Triple" and the new MC for KBS Live Music program "Music Bank". He used to be short track skating player. 


"I used to be short track skating player from the first year of primary school to the second year of secondary school. During that time period I participate in national skating game and was entitled best player for getting off the mark." 


Why you give up the skating sports? 


"I just think it will be so hard to make a living by doing short track skating," smiled Song Joong-ki. 


Song Joong-ki becomes famous for his acting in "Triple" as a skating player. Once was hot issue, "Triple" just got 5.7%% audience rating for the last episode showed on the 3rd August. However, Song Joong-ki is the winner of the drama who attracts lots of female audience to the TV screen. 


"My mom says I am just what I am in the drama 'Triple' which shows how much I show myself to the audience in the drama," said Song Joong-ki, "I think you have to wear the professional clothes (skating player clothes) that suit you in the play." 


As a fresh actor Song Joong-ki has already performed in movie "Frozen Flower" and "5 tastes of eroticism". Now his new role is the MC for KBS Live Music Bank. 


"The Music Bank program is live program so I am a little bit worried about my performance. But I believe it will help build up my MC experience. My friends are so happy that I can meet Girls Generation members during the program. Actually the idol group members only meet the MC for couple of minutes." 


Song Joong-ki is ambitious. 


"I practice singing a lot and want to show my singing skill one day in the future and I also want to become a successful actor as Jo Yin-seoong who owns excellent acting skill but still so modest to other people."
