Nice Shot! Lee Byeong-heon's first challenge on TV screen in 6 years

Korean actor Lee Byeong-Heon grabs national audiences by his excellent acting in action drama <IRIS> 6 years after his last TV production in Korea. 



Successfully marking his position in Hollywood, Lee Byeong-Heon is performing in his first domestic TV drama production <IRIS> after his excellent acting in SBS drama <All in> in 2003 which is 6 years ago. 



Since Lee Byeong-heon has been doing overseas filming with international production team after <All in> his first appearance in domestic drama production naturally become the hottest issue on TV screen in Korea. 



According to Lee Byeong-heon's own statement, he thinks he is filming "20 episodes of action movie" for <IRIS> instead of a mini series on TV screen because the budget of the drama reaches to action movie level for every episode and the whole production team are really professional about action scenes filming. 



There are three lines in drama <IRIS> which are action line in the first half, romance line in the middle part and comedic lines through some episodes. From the media research for the audience rating for the first episode which is over 20%, the action line succeeds for sure. 



Lee Byeong-heon's performance conquers the audiences. His image as strong and well skilled sniper and his eye contact when he finds out his friend Jin Sa-woo (Jeong Joon-ho) betrayed him all leave powerful impression to the audiences. 



Audiences review that it worth the time waiting for Lee Byeong-heon to come back on TV screen after 6 years. "He is the best in the show!" said audience on internet after watching the first episode.

Lee Byeong Heon may not be as goodlooking as my other favorite Song Seong Heon (hope got his name right, in Autumn Tale and East of Eden) but he definitely is super talented. Have watched him in All In & Beautiful Days & Everybody Has Secrets - he is definitely macho. I've read that he also speaks English, Mandarin and other foreign languages. Am looking for him in GI Joe and wish him more projects, more success. A very good actor indeed.
