Who is Jang Jin-yeong? Miss Korea, Actress and Life like movie

According to the official profile of her management company Jang Jin-yeong; was born in 1974 in Jeon Ju. Also she was said to be born in 1971 in acting business. 



After she finished her study Jang Jin-yeong studied in Sang Myeong University majored in fashion clothes. In 1993 she was titled as Miss Choong Nam province which admitting her beauty. 



After she had the Miss Korea title she participated in several CF filming and started her actress career by performing in drama "Angel in my arms" in 1996. Her first movie production was "Ghost love" in 1999 in which she played the role of doctor leaving impressive image to the audience. 



Her other famous movies include "The Foul King" in 2000, "Sorum" in 2001 which helped her win the best actress award in Cheong Lyong movie festival that year and also the best actress award in the 22nd FantasPorto movie festival. 



Jang Jin-yeong's movie "Over the Rainbow" in 2002, "The Scent of Love" in 2003 was one of her highlights in her actress career. Then her performance in movie "Singles" helped her win the best actress award in Cheong Lyong movie festival for the second time. 2007 SBS special drama "Lobbyist" becomes her last production. 



Jang Jin-yeong was confirmed suffering from stomach cancer in September 2008 and continued receiving treatment after that. During 11-month fight with cancer Jang Jin-yeong never gives up the hope for living which left the public with her beautiful image as a successful actress.
