SBS new miniseries Swallow the Sun takes off the veil.
Writer Choi Woan Kyoo and producer Yoo Cheol Yoong wish to create another legend with best Korean actors including Yoo Wo Seon and Jeon Koang Lyul after famous TV series All In.
For the first time in Korean TV series, Swallow the Sun took scenes in Las Vegas and the Republic of South Africa. The back story in the Republic of South Africa will be released through Sports Korea after the first episode on 8th July.
Ji-Seong, Top 3 Set
Born as a Love child of a woman diver and gang member, Kim Jeong Woo (Ji-Seong) hates the world and want to revenge all the time. He starts the game to revenge the world in the Republic of South Africa. He drives powerful motorbike everywhere with his gun in spite of dangerous environment. To match the character’s personality, Ji Seong shows powerful image holding gun in muscular arm and upset moment when sitting on his motorbike by himself.
Scary alien army
Mercenary soldiers fight for the people they love, not for the country. As mercenary soldiers, Ji-Seong, Yoo Oh-seong and Ma Dong Seok fight for their lives in the battle field. They are never afraid of death even 40oC sunshine can’t stop their charisma. Which direction they will point to with their guns in hand?
Yoo Oh-seong, I am the real action star
Yoo Oh-seong is the leader of alien army in which he tried to save the prince who had been kidnapped. He developed muscular body and amazing action skills during the filming of Swallow the Sun. He said he loves the character so much that he doesn’t want to walk out of the production.
There is love in the war
Love is so important in a world full of men where Ji-Seong and Lee Wan both fell in love with the beautiful princess Soo Hyun (Sung Yu-ri). It is interesting to see how the relationship will develop between them.
Sung Yu-ri, beautiful as advertisement
Sung Yu-ri is satisfied with her scenes which look as beautiful as advertisement. In the miniseries she plays the role of Soo Hyun who is considered as a perfect woman extremely kind and beautiful with strong independent life skills.
Lee Wan, upset rich boy
Money brings top sports car and expensive clothes but can’t bring comfort to his heart. Lee Woan plays the role of a rich boy Teo Hyuk who has best friendship with Jeong Woo but fell in love with Soo Hyun as well. Whom to choose is the biggest question in front of him.
Jeon Kwang-ryeol, intense eye contact
Jeon Kwang-ryeol plays the role of a bad man who can sacrifice other people for himself and never really love his own son. As an excellent actor, Jeon Kwang-ryeol performs best acting in the miniseries by showing intense eye contact all the time.
