“Since sometime I feel comfortable even without that thing.” 

Everyone has their own superstition. Lee Seung-gi also has some kind of “Jinx” that people don’t know. From 2004 to recent days, Lee Seung-gi have carried pick (used to play guitar) in his pocket all the time for 5 years. He said he only feels comfortable when carrying pick around.

He used to play guitar with the pick before he became a singer. He always carries the pick wherever he goes for stage performance, drama filming or CF filming. When he participates in the variety program “2 days 1 night” (KBS 2TV Happy Sunday), he asks for manager’s help if he forgot carrying the pick. He has 5 different picks with different size and color. He chooses one to carry according to his feeling about that day.

“This is my habit since I was a fresh singer; I can’t change it in short time”, “I know it’s kind of superstition but I can’t concentrate myself without the pick”, said Lee Seung Ki in recent interview. 

However, things change. Lee Seung-gi begins to forget about the pick now. He says “Recently I find out I can be very comfortable even without the pick, it really surprised me.”

Lee Seung-gi has the name of “Triple” recently because he is so popular in variety show, TV drama and music. His first TV drama “Shining Inheritance” creates the audience rating of 40% and his recent episode of variety show “2 days 1 night” aired on 28 June achieved amazing audience rating of 33.9%. Also, his new album “Would you marry me” grabs the first place in the Online Music Charting Box.
