Kim Joo-hyeok, Sexy Bang Ja for his first historical movie

Movie Story of Bang Ja is based on the famous Korean ancient fable “Story of Choon Hyang”. In the re-make version, Choon Hyang thinks Pang Ja is more handsome and attractive so she chooses him as her lover instead of childe Lee. Kim Joo-hyeok plays the role of Pang Ja while Loo Seung Beom plays the role of Lee Mong Lyong.

The writer for The Story of Pang Ja also contributed to movie Scandal and the director is Kim Dye Woo. There will be more new characters in the re-make movie as well as a lot of characters existed in the fable. The movie has already received many good comments from the public because of their fresh scenario.

Fans think Kim Joo-hyeok has changed a lot to perform a better Pang Ja. “He shows us a very different image of him; he changed the gentle image before and we’ve noticed he works very hard to prepare for the movie.”

The story of Pang Ja is his first movie since “My wife has got married” and “Terroir”. His excellent acting with Sun Ye Jin in movie “My wife has got married” gathered 2,000,000 audiences in the movie theatre.
