Ha Ji-won, 'First impression is important as my ideal boyfriend'

Ha Ji-won is that kind of actress always shows her new image to the audience. You may still remember her characters in TV drama "Hwangjin-i" and "Something Happened in Bali" where she plays the role of royal and cute girls. Now she is Yeon-hee in movie Hewoonde in which she speaks Busan locak dialect and runs a fish restaurant during tsunami.


-What kind of character is Yeon-hee in movie Haeundae?


-She is an orphan who lost her father in the tsunami and runs a fish restaurant by herself. She is really strong and lives her own life.


-What is difficult about the Busan local dialect?


-I can't do it right in the first place. When I feel I'm good enough the dialect teacher says I'm still no good. So I record a lot of dialect talk and try to make it perfect.


-What do you think about the scenario of the first Korean disaster movie "Haeundae"?


-I signed the contract before I read the scenario. I thought it would be like some of the Hollywood disaster movies but it is really very different. It is Korean style where a lot of humanity interaction is added to the movie.


-What about the cooperation with Seol Kyeong-gu?


-He is just someone who is born to be an actor. His acting skill is so good.


-Do you think you can get an award for this movie?


-I never think about that. It would be good to have the award. But I just try my best to be a good actress and make the best movie.


-What do you think about the diverse characters of you?


-I have an object when I try every character. Like in this movie my object is to master the local dialect and I did it. So I'm very happy about that.


-What do you think is the most important for body management?


-Eat. Eat different kinds of food including meet, vegetable and fruit.


-What kind of boy is your ideal boyfriend?


-He need to be really positive to life and smiles a lot. The first impression is so important as my ideal boyfriend.


-Do you plan to get married?


-I haven't thought about that now.


Another movie to be released in this autumn is called "My love My side" in which Ha Ji-won challenges romantic acting.
