'Haeundae' and 'Take Off', Who will win by 10 billion investment?

As the first Korean style disaster blockbuster, movie Haeundae which will be released on the 23 July describes the terrible tsunami happened in Hae-un-dae. One selling point is considered to be the 10 billion production fee which set up high expectation for the movie


Another selling point for movie Haeundae is the CG effect which is conducted by Hans Wolik who used to gain positive review by th CG effect for movie Tomorrow and Perfect Storm.


Director Yoon Jye-koon says "We can't compare the same types of movie with Hollywood bu our object is to make a film as popular as Hollywood disaster movie." "Different Hollywood production where hero always comes out to save all the people, Korean style disaster movie has more human care, warm smile and communication."


Famous actors Seol Kyeong-gu, Ha Ji-won, Park Joong-hoon, Uhm Jung-hwa and Lee Min-ki are leading the movie.


Another 10 billion movie production is "Take Off" released on 30 July which describe the process of Korean national ski jump athletes prepare hard to win the Olympic Game.


Famous actors Ha Jeong-woo, Kim Dong-uk, Kim Ji-seok, Choi Jae-hwan and Lee Jae-eung are leading the movie.


From the beginning all the actors of "Take Off" live together with real Korean national ski jump athletes and make the film together with all the athletes from foreign countries. This is believed to bring the real scenes of sports games and even the Olympic Game memories back to the audience.
