So Ji-seob, 'It's difficult to perform with foreign language'

Actor So Ji-seob expressed his feeling for playing in his first Chinese movie on the media conference held in Shinla Hotel, Seoul on the 13 August. He said it's difficult for him to perform with Chinese language in his recent movie "Sophie's love manual" because it's hard for him to express his emotion in foreign language.

Movie Sophie's love manual tells a comedy story of Jeff (So Ji-seob) abandoned his girlfriend Sophie (ZhangZiyi) two months before they get married and fell in love with top star Wang Jing-jing (Fan Bingbing). Sophie tries to get her boyfriend back so she carries on her revenge plan.

Since the movie gather world star Zhang Ziyi and famous Chinese actress Fan Bingbing, Sophie's love manual becomes hot issue as soon as it's released.

Talking about the process to overcome the Chinese language, So Ji-seob said "The first week is really hard for me but Zhang Ziyi comes to me and says she felt difficult too when she need to speak English in Hollywood movie but it will get better as filming goes. She encouraged me a lot during the filming process."

So Ji-seob becomes famous in China since his drama "I'm sorry but I love you" showed in China. As his first Chinese movie coming to the screen So Ji-seob has become more popular in China.

"Compare to Korean production overseas filming gives me more opportunity because I am fresh actor overseas having no concern and pressure as in Korea," said So Ji-seob.

Movie Sophie's love manual is going to show on more than 1000 screens in China this week and show in Korea on the coming 20 August.
