Actor Hyeon Bin's acting skill is definitely improving.
Hyeon Bin has grown up so fast as an actor after every of his production. He used to be "beautiful boy" type of young actor but now he is the actor. In his recent TV drama "Friends, Our Legend" Hyeon Bin shows his strong and confident eye contact to the audience and wins a lot of positive review from the public.
Although the character of Dong-soo has become famous because of actor Jang Dong-gun's excellent acting in the same name movie "Friends" audience loves Hyeon Bin's version of Dong-soo as well. "I want to show the audience my understanding of the character Dong-soo instead of the previous image created by Jang Dong-gun," said Hyeon Bin.
"I don't worry about the audience rating of ‘Friends Our Legend' so much."
Half of the episodes of "Friends Our Legend" have already been showed on the TV screen. As a leading actor of the drama, Hyeon Bin thinks it's a pity that there are not many episodes left for broadcasting.
"The drama becomes hot issue because of the same name movie and our production team are always trying our best to create different image of the characters to attract audience who love both the movie and the drama," said Hyeon Bin, "All the staff try so hard to make it perfect that we review the monitor every few minutes to improve the drama quality."
"Concerning the audience rating I am not so worried; as I used to say during the filming of ‘They world in which they live' audience rating doesn't mean all. Nowadays audience can watch TV drama series through so many other kinds of media such like internet and cable. Many friends of mine give me calls telling me that they like the drama a lot," said Hyeon Bin.
"When the audience rating of the first episode is released our director of the drama was so upset; but I comfort him and say that's OK to him," smiled Hyeon Bin.
"Jang says I am doing well so I feel happy about that."
As there are so many famous lines from the character, Dong-soo, who is played by Jang Dong-keon Hyeon Bin tries to add his own understanding to the character and practice the local dialect so hard to make it natural and fluent.
"I stared practicing Busan local dialect 6 months before filming and still practicing," said Hyeon Bin, "I also took special program to train my eye contact skill fortunately there are many positive reviews about this part of my acting."
Asked about the future plan Hyeon Bin says he want to live his 20s filled with successful career and romance without any regret. "I want to become a more mature person but I don't have any specific plan."
Talking about the time he is not playing in any drama Hyeon Bin likes to travel around to make up life.
