Dangerous Liaison Likely to Come to End in 'The Partner' - The July 30 episode

The July 30 episode of "The Partner" featured the nearing end of the dangerous liaison between Lee Yeong-u (Choi Chul-ho) and Han Jeong-won (Lee Honey).

Yeong-u's wife, Yu Mi-yeon (Choi Soo-rin), came to know about her husband's affair and went to meet Jeong-won to tell her not to see her husband any more. Despite the demand, Jeong-won could not stop seeing him because she had loved him for a long time. But a bigger obstacle was yet to come.

Yeong-u's father, Lee Jin-pyo (Lee Jeong-gil) who runs the major law firm Haeyoon, showed up where Jeong-won was waiting for Yeong-u, who arrived at the place later after finishing up his work. He was surprised to see his father there, not Jeong-won, and it made him worry about her rather than about the fact that their relationship had been disclosed.

"Where is she?" Yeong-u asked. "She's fully understood what's going on and left. You don't have to mind her any more," his father said, adding that he should not forget that they needed his father-in-law's help when the legal market was opened. When Yeng-u ignored his father's order to make an arrangement to have dinner with his father-in-law and turned back to leave, his father said sternly, "Do you want to get her hurt?" He answered, "You already did," suggesting that he truly loved her.

He went to Jeong-won's apartment and called her over and over, to no avail. But Jeong-won was watching him from a distance, crying.

The intervention of Yeong-u's father seems to be the last straw leading to the end of the illicit relationship between Yeong-u and Jeong-won. Now all eyes are on what the fate of the two will be.

Meanwhile, Kang Eun-ho (Kim Hyeon-joo) was shocked to learn that Lee Tae-jo (Lee Dong-wook) had something to do with the death of her husband. This also raised curiosity about where the relationship between the two will lead.
