Movie Season of Good Rain, Love comes together with romantic rain

There was a poem from ancient Chinese poet Du Fu saying "Nice rain knows when to come" which describes beautiful scenery of spring time when the plants need rain to grow and the rain just come for the plant for life. 


Same as the rain and the season, love relationship between two persons is kind of needs a good timing as well. Movie "Season of Good Rain" which is the fifth romantic movie directed by Heo Jin-ho is talking about the good timing for love to happen. 


Dong-ha and May are friends when they both studied in the states and they meet each other again by chance when Dong-ha visits China for work after several years. Time passing by Dong-ha is already a manager level worker in Korea and May is preparing a thesis related to ancient Chinese poet Du Fu by being a guard in Du Fu's former residence hall. 


Thinking about the words May used to say to him that she likes him, Dong-ha is wondering if she still thinks the same now. 


May is still in love with Dong-ha after all these years but the time they have together in China is quite short. How can they fall in love with each other in such a short time? The rain for love comes at the perfect timing for them and the magic love happens between them. 


Filmed all the shots in Chengdu, Sichuan Province of China, led by Jeong Woo-seong and Chinese actress Gao Yuanyuan, movie "Season of Good Rain" is going to show on big screen soon.
